Food was good. Price at happy hour was so good! We over ordered but we got dinner for tomorrow! Meatballs and pizza were so good. They had indoor and outdoor seating. PRkung can be difficult but there is more in back.
We came here for hally hour, which his what Inwould recommend since the pizzas are half the price. It's like a personal pizza and the half price is $11 so that's the time to get it we sat at what they call the chefs table which is sort of like the bar but you get to watch the chefs cooking and plating food. The complimentary bread was a nice touch and the pizza was good, but O don't think it would be worth $22 when not dining at happy hour.
Loved this place! Had a great waitress. Vibes were good inside, very chill Amy's Amici 30a Meatballs 8/10 (Made with beef, pork, and lots of love) - great appetizer! Totally recommend Lily's Chicken Piccata 8/10 (lightly breaded free range chicken breast, lemon butter caper sauce, sautéed thinly sliced garlic, baby spinach, and evoo, tossed in spaghetti) - chicken felt fried, not like a standard chicken piccata. Spaghetti Bolognese 9/10 - BEST PASTA OF THE NIGHT! Loaded with a delicious meat sauce. 100% recommend Geo's Lasagna 8/10 (traditional lasagna layered high with beef, pork, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, san marzano tomatoes, garlic, basil, and onions) Gnocchi Vodka 8.7/10 Caesar Salad 8.6/10 (crispy romaine, shaved parmigiana, homemade croutons. tossed in homemade caesar dressing) - great caesar salad. Perfect amount of dressing. Polpette (Meatball) Pizza 8.8/10 (san marzano tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, homemade pesto, & amy's amici 30A meatballs) - LOVED the pizza! Was hot and crispy. Will totally get another next time I go Calamari 7/10
There is a lot to be said about this restaurant. Starting off the location is very nice, it is right on 30A so it is very easy to spot and also there are many other places around it that are good too. The place is mostly open air and with the Florida weather it's usually a good temperature. There is also an open grass area by it which usually has some bands playing and is great for kids playing around. Next, the food. Some of the best Italian I've ever had. For the appetizer we got some Brussels sprouts which were good even though Brussels sprouts aren't really my thing and also we got a giant mozzarella stick. This thing is the pièce de résistance of the meal. There's so much cheese oozing out of it when you cut it along with the marinara sauce that is just a heavenly combo. For the entree I shared an order of vodka rigatoni, vodka gnocchi, and lasagne with some other people. First, the gnocchi, I would say compared to the other two this one was the worst which is hard to say considering this one was so good. The gnocchi was very soft and felt like a small pillow. The lasagne was also a hit, very cheesy and delicious. But, the best one was definitely the vodka rigatoni, there were shrimps on top of it and it paired so nicely with the vodka sauce. This meal does come at a pretty hefty price but I would say it's worth it for some amazing Italian food.
We always stop at Amici on the way from the airport. The have handmade pasta and pizza. We started with fresh made creamy vodka infused gnocchi and finished with their oversized pepperoni pizzas. Thin with the right amount of San marzano tomato sauce to shredded mozzarella cheese ratio. This is one of many Chorchis family restaurants we visit while on vacation.
Amici is a must stop for us, especially during their happy hour between 3-6. All pizzas are $11 which is fantastic. We had meatballs (which are always incredible) chopped salad, calamari, burrata (which needed more pita chips and lots of pizza. Nice place to unwind a bit and very family oriented.
We visited 30A for a quick trip and fell in love. Not to mention how amazing the food was. We came to Amici for pizza! And it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar area where we watched food be made and waited for our pizza with bread they brought out beforehand. We got a Margherita pizza and a custom cheese pizza with mushroom and olives. Both extra crispy! It was delicious ! Our server was really kind, and we really enjoyed talking to him. I believe his name was Matthew. Overall, good pizza and chill/fun vibes. The area is really cute to walk around in during the day and night as well. At night there are pretty lights! Food recs: Pizza!!
